Really appreciate you putting such a comprehensive breakdown on youtube! It was good to hear from someone who has insights through knowing people in the country. Only thing I wish you touched on was Alibaba's competitive landscape, especially JD, but great vide nonetheless

Thanks for the very interesting video, having also some content from people you know in China mainland. I have BABA in HK too. For me it was very interesting the concept that company continue to growth after the regulation period on its related sector. I see also gaming and educational company destroyed by government, with on this case a massive impact on the business model. For BABA I do agree that they will continue to growth on revenue and earning for gaming and education, not sure at all

Great video with great legitimate support for BABA. I am a current share holder. STATEMENT and then QUESTION: if we were to remain 100% unemotional and committed to technical analysis, we would have noticed that BABA plowed through a major monthly resistance zone at 200. It has also greatly respected its downward monthly trendline UNTIL June of this year...halleluiah! Good company or not...great intrinsic value or not...is it not still true that to recover from a 100% drop requires a substantially larger gain to just break even?? Instead of holding onto a great company until it figures out how to become great again, should we not suck it up and move our money into a business that is 'producing' NOW and wait until the company can PROVE that it means business and is committed to giving the returns we expect??

I understand what you’re saying Adam. All the factors you discussed were also impacting Amazon and other companies. Like everyone says there are a lot of companies out there to invest in. So it’s almost like there’s other forces at play . I believe that the CCP is the elephant in the room. The other elephant is how reliable are their numbers and accounting practices? Isn’t that why they might get delisted in the NewYork exchange? Shouldn’t we be talking in details about this ? I agree you can’t trust the media and you can’t trust corporations either.

personally,I think people should venture Into trading since the economic meltdown, having one stream of income is not really a good idea.

Adam, you do know the OTC market place is a market where big institutional trading firms, are not allowed by law to transact shares, So if institutions are not allowed to trade on this market, I dont see how BABA will get back to its intrinsic value?

Agree that the P/E is the lowest in Baba history, however, investors used to pay premium 5 years ago when the revenue growth was astronomical. Since the revenue growth is slowing down, people are willing to pay less premium
